Experience Summary
I earned a BS in chemistry, while I minored in math and physics. Following that, I completed my PhD in chemistry. While completing my PhD, I tutored college chemistry for three years. I taught students doing various majors, including chemical engineering, pharmacy, chemistry and agriculture. I finally was employed for five years as staff scientist by a biotech company in the San Francisco Bay Area. Furthermore, for the last three years I have been teaching the Bible to a small church congregation. My qualifications, skills, experience and drive for teaching will enable me to help students achieve excellence in their education.
Teaching Style
I've always had such passion for teaching students learn how to think and solve problems on their own. My most important goal is to help them achieve their fullest potential, thus making important impacts on their lives. Amongst many things, there are three things that I believe to be very important as I teach students: 1) I emphasize on teaching them HOW to learn on their own. 2) I emphatically encourage students to adhere to strict discipline. 3) I closely monitor their progress. Finally, I try to make learning experience fun for students.
