Experience Summary
At Wentworth Institute of Technology I held group study sessions and did some tutoring for individuals who struggled with some subjects. One particular student had a learning disability; our study sessions would last longer. I worked with her on many subjects and her grades improved, allowing her to be fearless of failing.
I had held these study sessions because I felt I was able to retain the subjects very well and received high-test scores. After two years I applied for my Associates in Interior Design, and recently I received my Bachelors of Science in Interior Design. I have written many papers, including research reports and opinionated topics.
Teaching Style
The tutoring I have done during my college years and a few high school years all resulted in breaking the topics down and organizing in a manner for the study groups to understand. I believe the students I worked with excelled by repetition of the material. Not all students learned that way, I was able to determine the different way each student would work and go from there.
I am a very patient person, love working with others and I am very organized. I am able to keep on track. I love to work with groups or single students. I care very deeply about education.
