Teaching Style
I enjoy working with children as it affords me the opportunity to see the world through different eyes that are open to many possibilities. I firmly believe that all children can and in fact do learn. Learning takes place at all levels but only when motivation is intrinsic. As an educator, I work to find what that intrinsic motivation is and then allocate the resources that enable that motivation to blossom into success. Often success is enhanced in the sciences through the use of manipulatives and experimentation. This adds to the value of the lesson by giving it a sense of relavence, greatly increasing the level of success for the learner. It also makes it fun.
