Experience Summary
I have had the pleasure of teaching ESL/EFL to adults and children in four countries over several years. During my travels, I have earned a MS in TESOL and am conferring my Ed.S degree in Reading Education. I have used this knowledge by working with children K-12 grades in math, social studies, ESOL, reading and study skills. I feel that over the past eight years of teaching I have obtained the experience and necessary understanding to assist students through difficult academic times.
Teaching Style
My teaching philosophy and style are very simple. I believe that all can learn and all can succeed with the proper guidance and simple direct instruction. I am a patient, understanding and thorough teacher who believes that once the light bulb goes off in a person's head, all the hard work was worth it.
