Experience Summary
My personal journey with education and teaching has been quite fulfilling as I have had many opportunities to enhance my skills in a variety of situations. Throughout my life, I have had gained valuable teaching experience while serving as a teacher and educational trainer in France, New Zealand, the United States, and China. During such international and culturally diverse teaching opportunities, I carefully observed the educational systems of each country and learned many effective teaching methods that will increase my effectiveness as a private tutor.
Over the past year, I have had the opportunity of teaching at the university level as a French adjunct professor. This unique experience has allowed me to experiment with many different teaching methods that promote both a strong work ethic and an enjoyable way of learning. The college students in each of my classes have come from various nationalities and backgrounds and have taught me how to effectively teach different kinds of people at all ages.
Teaching Style
From such a variety of teaching experiences, I have acquired a strong passion for teaching and also learning about new ways of improving education wherever I go. My love for teaching has also been greatly enhanced by the observable results of effective education methods in the lives of hundreds of students and fellow teachers that I have been privileged to work with.
I strongly believe that a teacher must first be a friend so that the student can develop trust and feel comfortable throughout the learning process. I also think that educational experiences should help the student to develop a strong work ethic, but also learn to love the specific subject through fun and creative teaching methods.
I am a very fun and creative person, who loves to work with people of all ages and teaching important subjects. I have a very outgoing personality and truly enjoy helping children and young adults increase their knowledge about the world around them.
