Experience Summary
I recently graduated from Florida State University with a BS in Chemical Science. During that time, I have tutored online for the past three years, and tutored at the university with my chemistry fraternity. I am strong in the subjects of math and science. I tutor regularly in those fields (i.e. chemistry, biology, algebra I, trigonometry). In the spring, I will begin working as a substitute teacher and I have taught summer camps the past five years.
Teaching Style
I believe there is more than one approach to solving problems, so I try to find the best approach for the student. I like to lead by example. If the student doesn't initially understand the problem, then I give related examples to further help with the learning process and to allow the student to apply the strategies to their problems. I love helping people understand. I remain patient and I always make sure the student has a full understanding before moving on to the next problem.
