Experience Summary
Having earned my undergraduate in Physics, I am well-versed in the foundations of science and mathematics. My masters degree in education reflects my commitment to helping others master those foundations. I have three years of experience as a science and math teacher. During that time, I have taught Precalculus, Calculus, Physical Science, Honors Physical Science, Physics, and AP Physics.
Teaching Style
When working one-on-one, my style depends completely on the student's needs. Accordingly, I always begin with a determination of those needs. Usually this is done informally, through conversation and perhaps a little formative assessment. Once the student's needs are determined, I work with the student to set a series of goals by which these needs can be met. We then work together, taking all the time we need, to accomplish those goals one by one.
