Experience Summary
I spent 6 years tutoring my children who were ESE and ADHD and have been tutoring others for a year. My students range from first grade through college in mathematics and grades 1-8 in all subjects and preparation for FCAT, SAT, ACT. I have a BS in Mathematics with a minor in physics and and AAS in data processing. I use a variety of methods to teach effectively.
Teaching Style
I have taught many subjects and sports throughout my life. I have always enjoyed teaching. My tutoring results are mirrored in the grades of my students. I usually assess the present situation, attempt to bring the student current, then cover material expected for the grade level that may have been missed. A good basic knowledge and ongoing supervision with attention to student organization provides lasting results.
