Teaching Style
Administered curriculum for grades 6-12 in the 2nd largest district in the state of Florida and the 10th largest in the nation. Designed and implemented customized teaching programs to allow emotionally and physically disabled students to be mainstreamed into the classroom. Developed dynamic lesson plans, which adhered to state standards, and instructed subject areas including math, history, and social science. Modified lesson plans to serve all ESL students and those with various learning styles and disabilities, as well as introducing hands-on tools and outside activities to improve classroom interest and retention. Achieved the highest percentage of students passing the FCAT Math for the 2004-2005 school year , and received high scores on all evaluations performed by school and county administrators
