Teaching Style
As a professional editor and published writer, I love working with language—trying to shape it to the ideas and images in my mind. I also love helping others to learn to communicate more clearly and effectively through the written word. One of the most satisfying jobs I ever had was that of adjunct English instructor. With my calm demeanor, I liked patiently guiding my students through the process of writing and particularly liked meeting with them individually to help them with any problems they were having. Seeing them improve little by little over the semester made me feel that I was truly making a difference in their lives.
