Experience Summary
I am a Chartered Accountant, a Certified Internal Auditor and have passed the Certified Public Accountant Examinations. I have worked in the Industry for 10 years and have a keen interest in learning. I have tutored children in the past and was complimented on the progress of the children. I worked with a child aged 7 with Math and Reading and also worked with a High school Accounting student who had problems with the subject. The best compliments I received were that the child who hated math earlier, looked forward to her homework after my tutoring and the accounting student understood some critical accounting concepts for the first time.

Teaching Style
I believe that the first step in teaching is to build a good rapport with the student and understand the problems, fear of study, inhibitions, apprehensions and dreams of the student. Once, the student and teacher are comfortable in each other's presence, things can proceed from there. I find it easy to build a rapport with children and present a light, fun environment where they do not feel threatened. I strongly believe thay my love for studying and taking examinations and my real life experiences while I worked professionally will be beneficial to children whom I teach.Each child is an individual and needs to be understood and approached accordingly. In every recommendation that I have received, I have been complimented on my ability to get along well with people. This is very important for a good teaching environment.
