Experience Summary
As a graduate of an Ivy League institution, I was able to earn an excellent liberal arts education, earning a Bachelor degree in Spanish and in Urban Studies. Throughout college, I tutored Math, Writing, and Spanish. In addition, I have concrete teaching experience. I taught Spanish part-time for .5 years to second grade students, and I taught full-time for one year in the Baltimore City School System. I attended Johns Hopkins for 1 year, and have completed part of the MAT program in teaching Spanish.
Teaching Style
I think that all students are unique, learning in different styles and at different paces. As a tutor, it is important to tailor instruction to meet the needs of each individual student. All students have the ability to learn, bringing their own struggles and successes to the table.
