Experience Summary
I currently work for Miami Dade College, and at Princeton teaching English. In addition I have trained and taught classes within the corporate arena for nine years. In addition I have homeschooled my three sons over the past nineteen years. I have also taught reading to adults within the community, and have taught abroad children and adults health, hygiene, and English.
Teaching Style
My personal teaching style is one of flexibility. I enjoy utilizing a standard curriculum and text to teach with, but I also enjoy a challenge and definitely see the need to be flexible as many students learn differently. In addition I love to see students “get it”. Once a student is able to grasp an idea or concept it brings much satisfaction and enjoyment to both the student and educator. This is a motivation to me as an educator to see the student understand the materials presented within the educational setting.
