Experience Summary
My experience as a teacher has been a life long passion. I was an early childhood education teacher for three years and taught the full gammet of subjects from mathematics, english, social studies, and so on. Not only that, I taught students from K-8 for the Metro-Nashville Public Schools in all subjects. My experience goes even further. As a Vacation Bible School teacher for three years at my church, I enlightened children with valuable biblical knowledge.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is based upon respect for the teacher and the children. I try to approach teaching not only as a key learning tool, but also how education affects our daily lives. My favorite approach is to connect whatever subject I'm teaching to current events. By doing this, I see that students understand the subject matter better. Also, I believe in discussing the material in a discussion type setting where everyone's opinion is heard, and the students can relate to the subject matter.
