Experience Summary
I will be graduating from UF this fall semester with a degree in marketing and mass communication. Although I am young, I have had some experience in teaching, as I have worked as a tutor during the summer. I have also served as a tutor at the University of Florida in all math related topics. I truly enjoy working with people of all ages and I am a registered substitute teacher. I have always been a diligent student, as my transcript can attest, and I have a passion for teaching anyone, especially in the areas of mathematics, economics, English, and writing.
Teaching Style
My teaching style embodies a combination of individualism and structure. Before I teach any subject, I dissect the topic to get to the fundamental root that may cause difficulties in learning. I break down the problem into a simple nature so that students can understand the logical reasoning of how to solve any problem. I believe that everyone has a unique learning style, so I use a flexible approach to better help students discover beyond just the right answer. Instead of just giving a student a few steps to memorize, I emphasize understanding why the solution makes sense, so that they may solve any problem regardless of their memorization abilities.
