Experience Summary
Having completed a Masters degree in Elementary Education at Medaille College, New York and earned two bachelors degrees from Wayne State University and University of Windsor I feel I am equipped to teach the most challenged child. My passion for teaching is a gift in which I enjoy very much. I also have taken science courses such as Anatomy & Physiology, Physics, and Chemistry at D’Youville College in New York. I have the training and expertise in teaching children writing for the Florida Writes program. During the past six years, I have tutored students in writing, mathematics and reading.
For this past year, I have taught fourth grade students at a school considered underprivileged. I am currently teaching a second grade class.
Teaching Style
My passion for teaching has allowed my students to excel in their studies. I am committed to giving the best to each child. I recognize the struggles that students face and I break it down into bit size pieces in which the child not only feels confident in the subject matter but enthusiastic to learn on his/her own accord. Nurturing a student to reach further and to go above-and-beyond is essential, as they are our future leaders
