Experience Summary
I have 19 years of ESOL teaching experience - 15 years at the college level in China and 4 years here in the US. I have a passion for teaching and I am a natural born teacher. My dream to be an English teacher started at high school, where I had an excellent English teacher who was my mentor and inspiration. My past 20 years career and education have centered on teaching of ESL. I have superb knowledge of the English grammar and pronunciation as well as other language skills. I also have the experience in private tutoring in both China and the US.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and I enjoy working with students. I can work well with people of all ages, and I am good at establishing a quick rapport with my students, even when I do not speak their native language. I am patient, helpful, and eager to help my students succeed. I believe that children need guidance from good teachers to succeed academically. I myself benefited a lot from the teaching and hard work of my high school English teacher. I have always credited my teacher with my success.
