Experience Summary
As a graduate of Curry College in 1970 with a BS degree, I was fortunate to be hired by the Boston Public School System. After teaching for three years, I began graduate school at Boston State College. The majority of courses were in special education, which proved to be useful in my career as a teacher. I have tutored students in most areas of education. I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching for the last 33 years. Although I am now retired, I still want to continue being an educator and I look forward to doing this through tutoring.
Teaching Style
I always enjoyed working with children in all areas of education. I have been tutoring children for over 10 years after my classroom duties ended. I have taught most subjects in grades 5-12. During the past 20 years, I have taught in the area of special needs. I am very organized, dependable, and relate well with children and parents. I look forward to being a tutor once again.
