Experience Summary
As a student in a system that strives for educational excellence, with a special focus on English and composition, I am quite adept at teaching the skills required for writing both as an extra curricular activity, and as a discipline. I took classes in high school education at CSU Sacramento, while I was working toward my bachelor's in English. I spent over 120 hours sitting in on elementary and secondary school classes, as a study. For two and a half years, I tutored students in math, science, English, social studies, reading comprehension, and writing.
Teaching Style
It's important to me to be part of the development in a child's education because once they are equipped with the skills I can teach them, they will find life in the real world easier. I believe that all children are capable of reaching the very highest level of competency, and that patience, understanding, and a meticulous hands-on explanation of material is the best way to teach a child new knowledge. I strive to provide that experience for all students and children I come into contact with.
