Experience Summary
An underlying emphasis of my career, either as a teacher, principal or superintendent, has been a focus on helping challenged students. Beyond several years teaching and serving as an administrator at many levels within the educational field, I have taught and tutored students both in the U.S. and China. Since retiring, I have mentored students with the emphasis on, again, helping challenged students achieve to their best capacity. Perhaps my greatest skills, other than motivating students, is to aid students in learning language, writing, and basic English skills.
Teaching Style
"You can do it! We are going to figure this out and learn it." I am a motivator. Even at my age I can relate to even the youngest child and get them excited about learning. For me, the joys of life are found watching youngsters overcome barriers and begin to achieve.
