Experience Summary
As a college graduate, I am very passionate and motivated to achieveing a higher level of education. I have earned a BA in sociolgy and plan to go back to school to obtain my master's in medical social work and possibly a PHD, also in medical social work. Sociology has taught me many ways to approach various situations and extensive writing, research, and grammatical skills. All which are due to writing research papers and participating in a variety of different research studies. In high school and for the past year, I have tutored students and enabled them to excel in reading, writing, and Spanish.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and helping all children. I believe that each child is different and needs different methods to help them better understand the material set before them. No one child can learn the same exact way as another, which is why I work at the pace of your child and at a level that they would understand. I am patient, kind, considerate, and understanding. My goal is to provide your child with the best method and tools to help them succeed throughout school and to go on to obtain a higher education. I live to make a difference in the lives of all the students that I meet.
