Experience Summary
As a student at the prestigious University of Florida, I aspire to obtain a position which will allow me to help educate the youth of today by providing them with an education that will prepare them to become successful individuals and active members of society. I have earned a Associate's Degree in Liberal Science, a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in African Studies and am currently working on my Master's Degree in Special Education. I have extensive training and have worked in over fifteen schools where I have had the privilege of working with students ranging from four to twenty four years of age. During the last five years I have tutored and instructed students in all subject areas.
Teaching Style
I believe that all students are different and will excel in academics by exposure to a variety of teaching techniques and strategies. As a result, I have made it my top priority to learn new and innovative teaching methods that will allow me to individualize my instruction for each student. I love to go to seminars which give concrete and explicit directions and training which will help increase the effectiveness of my instruction. Each student is capable of performing to their potential, it just takes a dedicated and motivated teacher whom never gives up to help them achieve their goals.
