Experience Summary
As a current student at the University of Central Florida I am always learning and growing in the education field. The past 2 semesters I have interned in Seminole County working with 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade students. When I am not in school I work as a Project Editorial Assistant at Harcourt Brace School Publishers. By contributing in the writing process of text books and e-books I am able to play a role in what is taught in the classroom. In addition, I am an Honors in the Major student currently writing a research thesis entitled 'E-merging Technology in the Emerging Classroom'. This process has enabled me to further my research and writing techniques and has enabled me to learn about education and its capabilities in the classroom.
Teaching Style
I enjoy teaching and all aspects of education. I believe that a buzzing classroom full of students engaged in learning is my goal. Every child has individual needs and by focusing on these we are able to make education fun. I am a firm believer in using hands-on methods in the classroom.
