Experience Summary
Excellent in math, I began college as a physics major, but I soon switched to biology and finished with a PhD in Zoology. I authored numerous reports. I taught human anatomy to nurses for two years and introduced intensive subgroup demonstrations. I later worked with graduate students in zoology laboratories at UNC Chapel Hill. I am a member of the Mensa society. My work in environmental consulting was both with companies and as an independent contractor. Subsequently, I owned art and antique shops and now sell through internet after teaching myself HTML and CSS. I have taught myself French and can easily read it.
Teaching Style
Learning is an exciting discovery of how things work, and conveying this can create active, interested, and successful students. The essence of tutoring is the interaction that allows the discovery of the correct approach for one student. With adjustments from student feedback, a perceptive and flexible tutor can help a student to advance quickly.
