Experience Summary
As a graduate from James Madison University, I have the knowledge and experience to teach mathematics at the middle or high school level. I acquired my mathematical knowledge through both my undergraduate work in the business school and the additional math courses I have taken since then. Last year I taught 7th grade math in Fairfax County, VA and developed various teaching strategies and differentiation skills that will benefit each of my students in years to come.
Teaching Style
I believe that education is an integral part of every child’s life. It raises interest in the unknown, teaches discipline, and encourages creativity. Most importantly, successful education relies on the differentiation skills of the teacher or teachers. Each child learns differently and in order to teach effectively, the teacher needs to meet their needs acccordingly. Visual learning and hands-on activities are often excellent ways to teach learners appropriately and capitalize on their creativity.
