Experience Summary
As a senior undergraduate at the University of Tampa, I intend to have two major degrees in marine science and biology, with a minor in chemistry and English. I have tutored for four years, and I am certified through the university as a tutor. In addition to tutoring, I have done lab assisting and research for various chemistry professors. Although I am qualified (GPA of 4.00) to tutor in math, English, chemistry, and biology, I preffer to tutor general, organic, environmental, and analytical chemsitry. In 2004, I was elected as tutor of the year through the University of Tampa, and I have tutored over three hundred hours.
Teaching Style
I thoroughly enjoy helping others learn. The majority of the people I have helped find the subjects difficult, and they greatly appreciate the fact that I am able to simplify the material as well as make it enjoyable. My style of teaching consists of helping others understand the basics and teaching them how to teach themselves.
