Experience Summary
I believe education to be the single most important way to help reach our potential. During my years at Florida Atlantic University, I learned that there are no barriers for our abilities to learn. I have earned a bachelor degree in accounting which was due to my love of both mathematics and business. I graduated with honors (Magna Cum Laude) in May 2003. While persuing my degree I tutored fellow college students in Algebra, chemistry, biology, physics, accounting and finance.
Teaching Style
I find great satisfaction in helping others learn. I know that not everyone learns the same way. I believe my job as a tutor is to try to help the student find his/her best method of learning. I believe in teaching by example - solving problems together and then challenging the individual to go at it on their own. I believe in creating interest by presenting problems in several ways and using terms which best relate to the student.
