Experience Summary
I have a broad and diverse educational background which includes a BS in Engineering, BS in History, and a JD. In addition to my educational background, I have a substantial amount of professional experience in a variety of industries and in a number of roles. Because of my education and professional experience, I have developed excellent analytical skills, a vast and expansive knowledge base, and superb written and oral communications skills. Through many of these experiences, I have trained a number of individuals with varied skills and abilities on a number of different subject matters. I have also spent time tutoring small children and teenagers on mathematics, history, and political science.
Teaching Style
I describe myself as someone with a broad knowledge base and a solid understanding of a number of disciplines. Part of the reason for my diverse academic background is an appreciation for learning. As someone with a passion for the learning process and an excitement for learning, I believe that I exude this excitement when communicating information to others. In dealing with anyone, I believe it is important to communicate in a respectful manner and to make the other person feel as comfortable as possible. With children, I believe it is important that each child develop a proper knowledge base, however, I also believe it is important that the child understand how to think and understand the reason for learning particular subjects.
