Experience Summary
Since I have graduated from UMES, I have been teaching on the high school level. I teach special education students as well as general education students in the inclusion setting, math. I have tutored students in various levels of math up to Geometry and specifically in preparation for the SOL's. I am capable of working with students with various levels of disabilities and with various learning styles.
Teaching Style
I enjoy my job and working with children. I am a very laid back and patient individual, and I work with the individual. I try to understand the individuals learning disability and work off of that. I give a lot of positive feedback and encouragement. I strongly believe that all individuals are capable of learning and an effort must be made to reach that potential.
