Teaching Style
My philosophy of teaching/education covers a variety of topics; including hands-on experiences, ever-present change, and community involvement. I help my students to explore their surroundings, interests, and subject matter. It has always been my goal to have students enjoy what they are doing and to walk away with a usable skill. Instruction should be varied to promote interest, enthusiasm and to meet various students’ learning styles. Emphasis should be on active learning. I want students to come out of my class with a love of learning and with the knowledge and the ability to make anything possible.
