Experience Summary
I have a lot of experience working with children. As a Newberry high school student I enrolled in the early childhood program and worked with elementary school students on a weekly basis. I primarily went during reading hours and got to read to the children and was in charge of putting together different activities that the children could do relating to the book I was reading. I also worked at O2B Kids for a period of time during the last year of high school and was a party/play leader. I am also a part of the Take Stock in Children and as a graduate of the program I have been asked on several occasions to be a motivational speaker to children in middle and high school to motivate them to succeed in their curriculum. I have volunteered in the last year to fundraise for Children's Muscular Dystrophy and will be walking this year in March for Babies.
Teaching Style
I love working with children. I believe in helping children succeed academically. The children are our future and I believe that with our help they can grow to be great leaders. I am patient, easy going, and considerate. My goal is to help someone in need and guide them to success. Inspiration is the key to success.
