Experience Summary
I graduated from Lawrence Technological University with a bachelor's degree in Business / Computer Information Systems. I completed numerous courses in Mathematics, Science, Statistics, English Composition, and computers. I have 20 years experience working in the Computer and Health field for Chrysler Corporation and St. John Health. Also, I returned to college to pursue an associate degree in Nursing and Radiology. I am a former Student Teacher at the college and have been involved with computer tutoring for over 10 years.
Teaching Style
I enjoy working with children. I have volunteered my time as a football, baseball and basketball coach for several years. I believe in following the classroom curriculum of the student and using that as a starting point for learning. Communication is a key ingredient in the formula for success. It is essential to have a positive feedback mechanism in place to encourage education. Every child has his/her own strengths and it is my goal to discover, nurture, and maximize these areas.
