Experience Summary
I have earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology, followed by a Master's degree in Inclusive Education. I am certified in New York State and Florida to teach general science, biology, and students with disabilities. Currently, I am teaching high school students with Autism in Pinellas County. Our curriculum is mainly general life skills, however, I have experience working with the general education population of students and students with mild learning disabilities. I am equipped with many skills that allow me to teach students with varying learning styles. I am also an active member of my school community. I have coached girls' basketball and lacrosse for the past two years, participated in Relay for Life, and chaperoned many school functions.
Teaching Style
I enjoy teaching and working with students of all ages and ability levels. I am certified to teach students with disabilities, as well as the general education population. My education and experience has equipped me with various tools and strategies to reach students of all learning styles. I strongly believe in making students successful by catering to their strengths. This gives them the courage and confidence to then tackle their weaknesses.
