Experience Summary
I have a BA and MA in economics as well as a Master's in Public Health Degree (MPH) from the University of South Florida. In addition, I have over 18 credit hours in statistics/econometrics related coursework. My teaching experience includes over a year of working as an adjunct economics instructor at the Hillsborough community college with an average course load of three classes per semester (excluding summer).
Teaching Style
My approach to teaching follows a traditional lecture format. Examples are included to illustrate all relevant concepts. Students are then given the opportunity to solve similar problems on their own after which any difficulties encountered by the student are explained again in more detail. If a student continues to have difficulties, I generally attempt to use a different approach to explain the same concept.
