Experience Summary
As a recent graduate of the Intial Professional Teacher Education Program at the Univeristy of Colordao Denver, I have had the opportunity to learn and implement the latest strategies and techniques in elementary education. Currently I am completing my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in technology , anticipated graduation date July 2005. Through this I have learned the importance of integrating technology in the classroom and curriculum. I have tutored students in Reading, Writing and Math.
Teaching Style
As an educator, one of my goals is to help all students realize and meet their potential. I have worked closely in non-traditional schools with students that have diverse needs. Through the use of hands-on / minds-on activities, cooperative learning, an integrated curriculum and the use of technology I beleive all childern can accomplish this. Tutoring offers students an opportunity to recieve individual assistance that could make a difference in their lives.
