Experience Summary
As a graduate student in a famous university, I worked for as a teaching assistant for 4 years. I taught courses of physics, optics, electronics and computer programming. When I was a high school student, I acquired the national awards in math competition, and state awards in physics.
Teaching Style
I strive to maintain a classroom atmosphere that is conductive to learning and encourages dialogue. I inspire my students’ self confidence so that they feel comfortable expressing themselves regardless of their level of ability. Mistakes are treated as inevitable parts of the learning process and correction are made in a non-threatening manner. I am enjoying teaching and enthusiastic about the fundamental physics in the experiments.
The classes we teaching are composed of students with different characters. Individual differences is the origination of creativity, and hence to be recognized and respected in the class. Personal interaction with students is one of the most important aspects of my teaching. I am available to meet my students during or outside of my office hours, make myself available to students. I also strive to provide the students with detailed, written feedback on their experimental report.
