Experience Summary
Since my childhood I was always interested in education and academics. This definitely reflects in my degrees since a female entering an engineering school was very uncommon in those days and especially in India. After getting my B.S. I knew I wanted to teach; hence I pursued my masters in Mechanical Engineering. I have been teaching and tutoring for many years but for 15+ in Maryland. I have very good communication skill. I have tutored students in various subject area - starting from middle school Math and Science - to undergraduate courses in Math, Physics and some Chemistry. I also have helped many students prepare for public exams such as SAT, ACT, GRE, and GMAT.
Teaching Style
I enjoy teaching and tutoring both. I have a very flexible style of tutoring and hence can adjust to student's learning style very comfortably. Since I have experience in broad subject areas, I can help students refresh on some material from their previous classes and also help them build a strong foundation for upcoming courses.
