Experience Summary
I have quite a bit of experience, in both the tutoring and the teaching fields. While working in Los Angeles as an actor, I needed to take other jobs to supplement my income. Pursuant of this, I worked for 2 years as a tutor for Ivy West in Los Angeles, tutoring high school students to prepare for the SAT. I tutored both one-on-one and in the classroom setting. Since 2003, I have been substitute teaching for LAUSD, DPS and other private schools. During this time, I have done many "Long Term" assignments that required me to lesson plan, evaluate, and manage students.
Teaching Style
I found that I enjoy teaching as much, or more than, acting. My style is to have students working and interacting as much as possible. I don't do much lecture, but rather, design the classses so the students can work independently or in groups while I advise them.
