Experience Summary
As a graduate from one of the top PhD programs in the country, I have a breadth of experience in chemistry. At Texas A&M I specialized in organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry and polymer chemistry. My teaching experience includes polymer chemistry, organic chemistry and freshman chemistry classes. My tutoring experience includes 4 years of tutoring both freshman chemistry and organic chemistry. I have highly developed communication skills and can explain even the most complex concepts to any student.
Teaching Style
I have an adaptive teaching style that I can customize to the individual student or group of students. I heavily leverage visuals and models, especially in organic chemistry. For me, the key is to relate a concept to something a student is already familiar with. I love analogies, and I use them to drive students to think about chemistry.
