Experience Summary
I first began tutoring in High School as I was in all accelerated classes. I was asked to tutor students struggling with their English skills (both writing and reading). I joined the on campus program for individuals looking to complete their graduation requirements. Through my assistance with the campus program, I was able to form a small base of personal clients. I enjoyed working with these students and watching them progress through into college.
Teaching Style
I believe that it's important to understand how each student learns. Students who are visual, auditory or hands on need to be accommodated in order to achieve their full potential. The more an instructor knows about a students learning style, the more a course can be adjusted and improvements can be made.
