Experience Summary
I value education to the highest degree. I graduated in May earning a BA in Business Administration with dual concentrations in Sports Management and Marketing. Although I have only one official year of tutoring experience, I have made a habit of helping other students with course work since high school. I will be attending law school in the fall, and plan to earn by MBA as well. I have tutored students in logic (both introductory and symbolic), but have experience helping students with math (through calculus), French, Chemistry, and other classes.
Teaching Style
I love helping people learn, especially kids. My mother is a teacher, and emphasized the importance of an education throughout my childhood. I have grown up with the benefits of a healthy learning environment, and I think every child deserves the same. I am friendly, patient, and relate well to children. I have a younger sister in high school and many of her friends' parents have come to me for help with their child's education. I have provided the positive, role model-like relationships that have enabled me to establish a rapport with them over time. I believe that for students to succeed in school, they must have a desire to learn as well as a support system that values education. If both of those things exist, success is inevitable.
