Experience Summary
I have tutored students since I was in high school at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute. I was in the honor club and one of the obligations of honor club membership is to tutor Poly students. In 2003 I attended Morgan State University and earned a BS in Biology. This degree has enabled me to gain a good understanding of math and science. I also gained many skills in writing and reading from writing research papers in my field. I also worked for a biotech (ABN) company as well as in the university lab to gain even more experience in science.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is basically a belief that every student has the ability to be a great learner. My goal is to help them harness that ability. With my guidance they will be able to focus and achieve great success in education. With my patience and down to earth attitude students feel comfortable learning from me. I will not only be their teacher but also their friend. I will show them that their education is going to be useful for them later. I also like to show students that what they learn can be useful and practical.
