Experience Summary
I graduated from "China's MIT", Tsinghua University. I have always been very good at math, I often joke that I have a "math mindset". I was a Teaching Assistant when I was at graduate school in China. During my short time at the University of Florida, I worked as a grader for a professor in the Department of Computer Science. Later he promoted me to be his TA for "Numerical Analysis"; sadly I had to leave because my family moved to MA. I can teach college level math such as College Algebra, Calculus, as well as math test preparation for GRE, GMAT, SAT, TOFEL, etc. I can also teach Chinese.
Teaching Style
I love teaching, that is for sure! "Being a college teacher" was one of my dreams when I was a kid. I teach my students how to find the "keys" for solving math problems. I tell them that there is only a "paper window" between them and the "truth of math". My job is to help them tear the paper down; it is not difficult, as long as you find the right way. I encourage my students, and with the right math skills, they gain confidence very quickly.
