Experience Summary
I earned a BA in Communications which has instilled in me the skills to effectively demonstrate almost every skill set and instruct diverse populations. I gained a high level of fluency with the Spanish language working with it from elementary through college. Additionally, as music is one of my greatest passions I have developed a very broad appreciation of many diverse styles from around the world. Throughout college, I was an onsite Resident Advisor, where I tutored students in addition to helping with their transition to university life. After my schooling I spent several years as a medical software trainer responsible for training physicians and their staff as they transitioned to a paperless office environment. As a software trainer, I used my existing skills to develop an "existing knowledge ends-based" training concept.
Teaching Style
I find joy in teaching anyone with a desire to learn. I establish, maintain and navigate effective interpersonal relationships with almost every type of personality. I take into account a skill set the pupil already has and fuse it with the applications that help with what I am teaching. Essentially, I "re-wire" new methods onto already learned behaviors and habits while explaining the intricacies of the new methods to the pupils.
