Experience Summary
I have earned a bachelor degree, BS in Textile Engineering, which has enabled me to gain a deeper understanding in many areas of Math and Science. Math has been my first academic passion since I was in elementary school. In 2005-2006 I obtained from Florida Dpt. Of Education my Professional Certifications for teaching Mathematics 5-12 and Spanish k-12. Last year I've finished my Masters in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language. I've developed a love for Spanish language while I was living in Madrid-Spanish (1998-2004). During the last eight years I have tutored students in Mathematics and Spanish from 2nd grade to college level and I have worked for many entities as a translator Spanish-Romanian and as a Math & Spanish teacher.
Teaching Style
I am a patient and encouraging teacher. I am very committed to my students and teaching is my passion. I am not afraid of taking a student from level “zero” because I believe that anyone can learn as long they have the motivation and the explanations they need. My goal is to help each one of my students make their "academic dreams" become reality.

My goal is to help each one of my students to make their "academic dreams" become reality. My tutoring experience has always been outgoing and optimistic. I am very enthusiastic and creative when it comes to teaching Mathematics. My students enjoy being taught by me because I always find a "shortcut" to Math concepts. I take an active approach to teaching that engages the student at every step of the learning process and I adapt my methods to their needs and type of learning-style. In my experience, the most critical ingredient for academic success is a focus on learning-by-doing, breaking down complex concepts into manageable tasks that can be mastered in a stepwise fashion. I feel very blessed to say that all my students accomplished their goals.
