Experience Summary
As a student at Elon University, I worked as a student assistant in the Athletic Department for the Director of Academic Progress. Part of my job was to monitor study hall as well as provide tutoring to student-athletes when needed. I graduated with a BS in Business Administration. As a tutor for my last 2 years, I was able to tutor students in a variety of subjects. I also have worked with students on Spanish, computer (HTML design, Microsoft Office) and writing/essay skills.
Teaching Style
I like to approach each student differently. We all have our own style of learning that we are comfortable with, so I like to get to know my students and the best way that they learn. I then take the subject at hand and find ways to teach the material to my students in a way that will enable them to not only learn the material, but to understand it as well. I work with my students as the individuals that they are and try to make learning fun, as well as important.
