Experience Summary
As a hispanic woman, I have always loved challenges. Recently I have juggled work and motherhood. Being a mother of three has given me an introspective insight to children. These skills have helped me become an effective instructor. During the last six years I have tutored my daughter Anabella in English and math.
Teaching Style
My greatest gift as a teacher is finding a child's strength and reinforcing it in all areas of academia. I am a leader as well as an instructor. Children perceive my character and follow through their tasks. I believe in inspiring a child as well as educating him/her. As an instructor who teaches by example, I believe that whichever learning skills the children need, they will acquire. First, I find their best attribute in the subject and then I teach them how to embelish this skill in order to mute their small deficiencies. My goal is to educate and inspire through creativity and affirmation.
