Experience Summary
As an undergraduate student at the University of Cincinnati, I took part in a wide variety of jobs, research positions, and opportunities. I earned a bachelor of science degree in Chemistry with a minor in German. My research experience allowed me to be the co-author of a published paper in the Journal of Physical Chemistry B. I also have been the only UC student accepted to the Steuben-Schurz-Gesellschaft, the world's oldest German-American Internship exchange program. I have tutored students in Chemistry, Calculus, and Algebra at the collegiate level.
Teaching Style
I love interacting with people in a personal setting. I believe that all students have the ability to learn anything they put their mind to if it is presented to them in a manner that makes sense. I believe that the difference between loving and hating a subject rests solely on the ability to understand the material itself. My goal is to make students love mathematics and science by understanding these subjects and I believe my logical approach to problem solving is one that makes learning possible for children of all ages and abilities.
