Experience Summary
My tutoring experience started while I was attending Valencia Community College, prior to my medical school training. To date, I have received my BS in Health Sciences and my Doctorate of Medicine degree. One thing I always stood behind is education; I was told that education is the one thing no one can take away from you. This is why I believe in guiding students and helping them when they need help the most. My education has helped me be strong in many areas of Mathematics and Sciences. Science has forever been my passion but mathematics has always been my love which is why I have tutored both mathematics and sciences. It may sound cliché, but tutoring has always been a blessing to me as well as rewarding.
Teaching Style
I enjoy tutoring and working with children of all ages. Two concepts I consider most important are learning the basics and setting small goals towards the ultimate goal which is set with the student. I believe harder problems or concepts are understood if the basics are strong, and having goals is rewarding for both the student as well the tutor. I seek to develop the style of teaching that is most effective to the student. I truly think every child has a potential to succeed and I thrive to reach that potential.
