Experience Summary
Coming from an industrial engineering background, I have all the necessary math and physics skills to train students at the high school and early college level. A major career shift to modeling nature made me acquire new knowledge of biology, ecology, and, of course, much more math. I have been on field-work for a long time, and I've trained several people in sampling techniques. I am currently teaching wildlife population ecology to undergraduate students at the University of Florida.
Teaching Style
I am good with all ages. My ideas in physics, math, statistics and wildlife are very concrete. I am a visual person and do most of my teaching with real world examples. I believe that students only grasp concepts when they see things and relate situations into real life examples that they have experienced in their life. Helping a student get excited about the subjects I teach gives me tremendous joy.
